JOB SUMMARY: PART-TIME POSITION responsible for specific departmental functions including receipting all forms of revenue, data extraction/conversion, financial analysis and reporting to include ledgers, charts, and forms as well as general secretarial duties such as typing, filing and answering multi-line phones. HOURS: Monday - Friday 10 am to 2 pm.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED, plus 3 years experience. Up to two years college/48 hours coursework may be substituted for experience. Prior governmental accounting experience a plus.
CERTIFICATION/TRAINING: Valid NM driver's license with a good driving record. ABILITIES/SKILLS: Must be able to read and write proficiently; understand written and oral instructions and interact with the public and staff in a pleasant and professional manner. Must be detail oriented and accurate, have strong organizational skills and math skills and be able to effectively safeguard confidential information. Highly proficient in the use of personal computers and software, 10-key calculators and answering multi-line telephones.
