GENERAL SUMMARY
The purpose of this job is to review, analyze, and process the Court's caseload, court orders, legal correspondence, and attorney/guardian ad litem appointments. Conducts legal research and other Judicial acts in accordance with the Statutory Authorities exclusively given to Deputy Probate Registers. Monitors, coordinates, and schedules court proceedings. Provides information and assistance to the public concerning legal proceedings as a subject matter expert for specific case types. Manages court receivables, payables, and information needed to update financial records. Provides technical support for applications such as OnBase, JIS, and Microsoft applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and analyze court documents; process, prioritize, and organize caseload.Analyzes, composes, and disseminates court orders and legal correspondence.Monitors, coordinates, and schedules court proceedings.Assists members of the public in understanding and navigating legal proceedings.Processes account receivables and payables, filing and inventory fees, and other payments.Resolves financial discrepancies within the department.Designs, implements, and deploys new systems, applications, and functions to support department needs.Scans, indexes, and cross-references of all legal documents, reports, and correspondences.Provides technical support to the department for software applications.Participates in the development of new department policies and procedures.Perform related work as required.
