The Dep Ops Shared Services Assistant Manager is responsible for providing senior level support and service with respect to CD and IRA Processing, Online Banking and BillPay Processing, IRS Processing, Unclaimed Property Processing, and CIF Data Management. Additionally, the Deposit Operations Asst. Manager is responsible for assisting the CIF Data Manager the oversight of the Deposit Operations CIF, CD, and DDA Department, including managing attendance records, providing continuous training, setting performance goals, making employment decisions, and participating in annual performance review assessments.

Key Responsibilities:· Serves as a senior level resource for CD and IRA Processing, Online Banking Bill Pay support, IRS Processing, Unclaimed Property Processing, and CIF Data management.· Keep abreast of industry, regulation, and IRS changes as it relates to deposit accounts, including Demand Deposit, Savings, Certificate of Deposit, and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA).· Analyzes department job functions and makes suggestions and decisions for streamlining functions, improving effectiveness and enhancing the accuracy quality of work.· Researches non-routine or complex Deposit Operations problems and communicates findings to management and internal customers; executes resolutions.· Assumes leadership in assigned projects with guidance from manager; Completes assigned tasks or projects within deadlines.

Competencies Required:· Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group; executives, managers, and subject matter experts.· Ability to work independently, with little to no supervisory oversight.· Strong decision-making process that is consistent, thoughtful and informed, with the ability to consider alternate conclusions and actions.· Excellent organizational and data entry skills, with the ability to multitask, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast paced, high volume environment.· Good leadership skills with the ability to effectively coach employee performance and manage workflow.· Extensive knowledge of bank policy, procedure, products, regulations, and compliance.· Working knowledge of the Bank's products and services offered in Retail and Commercial Banking.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:· 5 years of deposit operations experience in the banking or financial services industry required.· 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.

Formal Education Certification:· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Status:· Full-Time.

Supervisory Responsibility:· 2 or more direct reports.

Travel:· 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.

Working Conditions:· Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
