　　Position name: Dental Assistant

　　Facility name: Joliet Job Corps Center

　　Location: Joliet, IL

　　Work schedule: Part-Time (11 Hrs Per Week)

　　Job responsibilities: The dental assistant is responsible for preparing patients for exams and treatment by the dental team.

　　Essential functions:

　　Assist dentist in performing services by preparing patients in chair and handling instruments, equipment, and dental plastics, assist with x-rays and provide post-operative and oral hygiene instructions as prescribed by dentist.

　　Sterilize instruments and keep the office stocked with required supplies.

　　Arrange and maintain appointment schedule.

　　Keep records of patients, act as office receptionist.

　　Provide positive, quality customer service to students, staff, and other center customers.

　　Education and Experience Requirements:

　　Valid dental assistant certification

　　Certified to take x-rays.

　　A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

　　High School Diploma or equivalent
