ESSENTIAL RESPONSBILITIES AND DUTIES:Estimate time, material, equipment and supplies neededDevelops work schedules and crew assignmentsMaintains records of operationsMonitor inventories and request supplies and equipmentEnsure work areas are properly maintainedEnsure all hazardous materials are identified prior to demolitionEnsure all demolition workers are following JHA for taskCoordinate Vendor pick up and deliveriesEnsure demolition is safe and all electrical power is terminatedEnsure fire alarm systems are offline or protectedEnsure fire sprinkler systems are offline or steps have been taken to protectthemIdentify hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead paint, FM200 systemsand othersEnsure low voltage and communications are terminatedIdentify all live utilities that are to remain operational during demolitionProperly support all structural items to remain in placeRecycle all materials as prescribed in the contract documents or required bylocal jurisdictionUtilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issuesConsult with clients and contractors in a professional mannerEnsure jobs are completed in due time and ensure work in performed accordingto Swinerton standardsDiscipline, mentor and monitoring performance of employeesEnter daily time in Exaktime (Swinerton timekeeping system) for crewComplete other responsibilities as assigned
SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Foreman Demolition or similar roleDisplay basic computer skillsLift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts orother equipmentAbility to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fullysquat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool beltCapable of working in a variety of weather conditionsUphold Swinerton Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion andExcellence at all timesAdhere to all OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and proceduresSupport activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directed
