What you'll do

Safely operate company-owned vehicles to transport merchandise to and from the flower shop and customer locations

Load and unload merchandise, ensuring that all items are securely packaged and protected during transport

Confirm delivery details with customers, including the delivery address, date, and time

Collect payment for orders when necessary, and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations and any customer feedback

Assist with flower shop duties when not making deliveries, including helping customers with purchases and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns

Customer service-oriented approach

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Available to work upto 28 hours a week

Familiarity with the floral industry and customer service experience is a plus.

Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds. They must also be able to sit for extended periods of time while driving.

The driver will be required to work both indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions. They will spend a significant amount of time driving and may be required to lift and carry heavy objects.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $16 an hour
