JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Providesexcellent services to all guests Assists guests with finding items theyare looking for on and off the sales floor Takes and executes specialorders and requests Answers the telephone and assists callers usingproper phone etiquette Addresses guest concerns with prep and kitchenmade items, and resolves issues when a guest is not satisfied with theservice or product received Ensures all production standards are beingmet in the Deli Kitchen Makes decisions on production levels by studyingweekly movement report (items sold) for salads and sandwiches Fills theknee knockers, heat and eat sections, tray and dip wall, and all specialorders Ensures that temperatures are being taken on hot bar and saladbar Recipe control Ensures that recipes are being followed step by stepMonitors dates and freshness of every product Shrinks the items that areoutdated Ensures that products are dated and initialed in thecooler/freezer Oversees product presentation, cleanliness of kitchen andfood-safety requirements Ensures that cooler and freezers areconsistently clean and organized Blast chiller kept cleaned and coolinglogs kept up to date Contributes to overall cleanliness of thedepartment by picking up, organizing and cleaning work areas includingshelves and sales floor as needed Required to maintain food safety logsEnsures all quality standards are being met, including quantityexpectations at 100% at 10 am and 5 pm Executes Special Orders byfollowing Special Order Tray Building Procedures Produces Step by StepDinners by following detailed instruction sheets Builds party traysaccording to the Party Planning Guide Has knowledge of and follows allKitchen Production Books QUALIFICATIONS To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential jobduty satisfactorily. High School Education or equivalent combination of educationand experience Must be food safe certified (an actual food safetycertification) Ability to motivate a team of individuals Ability to dealtactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel Good oral andwritten communication skills and the ability to handle a diverse crew ina highly stressful environment Complete understanding of all safetyrequirements and company safety policies Must posses the ability toapply on-the job safety training to recognize and react to possiblesafety hazards on store premises.
