Description

We are seeking a Deductions Analyst to join our team in the Manufacturing industry based in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves managing credit applications and maintaining records in a precise manner. The successful candidate will be adept at using Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions, and will be responsible for monitoring customer credit accounts. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintaining precise customer credit records

• Resolving customer credit inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate measures to collect overdue payments

• Using Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions to manage accounts receivable

• Utilizing Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, and Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze financial data

• Performing various accounting functions as necessary

• Managing billing functions and ensuring accuracy

• Overseeing cash activity and check processing

• Handling deductions and adjustments as necessary

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ERP Solutions

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Experience in handling Cash Activity

• Knowledge of Check Processing

• Ability to manage Deductions
