POSITION SUMMARY
With limited supervision, the Data Systems Manager develops and supports agency-wide data systems, reporting and complex projects within clinic programs and administrative units.
Salary $88,000-$100,000
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, or related field plus 4 years of progressively responsible experience with data analysis and design work in relational and non-relational databases, programming and/or scripting in recognized languages, using various reporting tools including Crystal reports and experience with Business Intelligence, SSIS and SSRS.
4+ years working with SQL and in an application development role is required. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minor direction is required. Experience using dashboarding tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau, is preferred. 2+ years experience managing a team of developers and analysts is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills are also required. Prior experience in an FQHC environment is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees and supervises all data and application systems, related functions and staff, including development.
Identify opportunities to use data to improve workflows, compliance with quality measures and support overall organizational goals.
Map out data delivery technology, including tools and platforms.
Develops and maintains successful relationships with vendors.
Manages application rollouts and upgrades.
Proactively develops solutions resulting in improved and more efficient workflow and operations.
Develops and supervises creation of complex workflows and automations for clinical applications and reporting purposes.
Oversees a team of Database Developers and/or Systems Analysts.
Manages IT Change Control process for IT supported applications.
Develops task/project requirements, specifications and project plans.
Acts as technical lead on IT related projects.
Develops and provides training on use of system software.
Continues to develop knowledge and understanding about the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served as well as uses appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect an understanding of culture.
