Description
Position Summary:
Person in this position will be responsible for the data management needs of the agency. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.
Essential Job Functions:
The entry of data into the computer system including:
Participant Service Verifications.
Participant Profiles.
SAP Contact Verifications.
SASCA Contact Logs.
SAP Authorization for Participant Services.
Admits and Discharges from Providers.
PSN Verifications of Treatment.
Monthly invoice generation including getting provider approval.
Weekly Service Verifications faxed to providers for approval.
Receive faxes and other correspondence and distribute to appropriate party.
Researching and fixing of any error in data that may occur.
Assist with any computer problems that may arise.
Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation; and
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
One (1) year data entry experience.
Excellent computer skills.
Extensive knowledge of MS SQL, MS Access, MS Exchange, and MS Server 2000; and
CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and an Annual Tuberculosis test.

Education :
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Ability to obtain and maintain clearance from California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR).
Valid drivers license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCares vehicle insurance is required.
CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and an annual Tuberculosis test. As mandated by Presidential Order all employees of WestCare Foundation, Inc. and all affiliates of WestCare Foundation, Inc. will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 effective 12/08/2021. Employees that have requested a Medical or Religious Exemption, which has been approved by Human Resources will be required to test for the virus weekly.
During your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.
