This team will focus on building an enterprise program to improve the quality, accessibility, and protection of the data supporting Guardian’s critical business and analytics processes.
The Data Management Analyst is a crucial role responsible for managing reliability and improving the organization's trust in data. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and enforcing data standards and policies. You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify data quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, quality assurance, and process improvement in the insurance industry.

You will
Socialize the policy objectives and benefits of Data Governance within the company, engaging stakeholders and collaborating to meet business needs.
Educate and train stakeholders to utilize Collibra.
Implement policies and procedures across all departments within the company, ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy laws and regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of metadata, including data dictionaries, data models, and other metadata artifacts.
Implement metadata management tools and technologies to support metadata creation, maintenance, and enforcement.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to establish data quality metrics and ensure data quality is maintained throughout the data lifecycle.
Define and manage data quality improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and remediation planning.
Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders on data quality best practices and procedures.
Monitor and report on data quality metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and risks.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement data management tools and technologies.
You have
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in metadata management, data governance, or related field.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with business and technical teams.
Experience working with metadata management tools and technologies, such as metadata repositories, data modeling tools, and data cataloging tools.
Understanding of regulatory requirements related to metadata management, such as GDPR and CCPA.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

Salary Range
$76,050.00 - $124,935.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
