Job Title: Data Entry Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

The technician will process orders so that they can be filled or changed for the customer. They will also bill medications to insurance companies and other agencies. The customer service technician will process, organize, and file all records. Customer Service Techs will answer phone calls and retrieve paperwork to answer questions, resolve issues with facilities and residents or their payees; they will print labels, pull delivery manifests, and communicate within and outside of the department for resolution to problems or errors.

Responsibilities

Process orders for customers to be filled or changed.

Bill medications to insurance companies and other agencies.

Organize, process, and file all records.

Answer phone calls and retrieve paperwork to resolve issues with facilities and residents or their payees.

Print labels and pull delivery manifests.

Communicate within and outside of the department to resolve problems or errors.

Essential Skills

Pharmacy Technician certification.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Customer Service experience.

Data Entry skills.

Experience with Prior Authorization.

Retail Pharmacy experience.

Call Center experience.

Order Entry skills.

CPhT certification.

Experience in Healthcare.

Additional Skills Qualifications

1 year of Pharmacy Tech experience.

1 year of Data Entry experience.

Strong customer service skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $22.00
