Description

We are seeking a highly organized, attentive, and detail-focused Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, specifically with the use of pivot tables, and have a typing speed exceeding 50 WPM. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to maintain our organization’s databases by accurately entering, updating, and managing data.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently enter and update data into relevant databases, ensuring all data are accurate and up-to-date.

Use Microsoft Excel and specifically utilize pivot tables for sorting data, creating more efficient data entry processes.

Verify, proofread, and edit data for accuracy, amending any discrepancies and misalignments.

Comply with data integrity and security policies to ensure data confidentiality.

Expand knowledge on data entry trends and best practices to improve workflow efficiency.

Maintain and manage digital and physical filing systems.

Meet data entry deadlines and work as part of a team to achieve the company's overall objectives.

Proofread and accurately indicate errors or missing information located on documents.

Perform any related duties or tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite with a heavy emphasis on Excel and pivot tables.

Exceptional typing speed over 50 WPM with high levels of accuracy.

Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in data.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification will be an asset.
