Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous and highly organized Data Entry Clerk in AMITYVILLE, New York. The individual will be a key player in our team, responsible for processing and maintaining customer credit data. This role requires a strong ability to manage customer inquiries related to credits and to monitor accounts to ensure prompt payment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry

• Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output

• Apply data program techniques and procedures

• Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations

• Respond to queries for information and access relevant files

• Comply with data integrity and security policies

• Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions. Requirements • Holder of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Experience in a data entry role is beneficial, but not essential.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with office equipment and administrative duties.

• Professional and ethical conduct at all times.

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
