Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This role will require a high level of attentiveness and the ability to process large amounts of data accurately. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining our databases, ensuring that all information is correct, up-to-date, and accessible. Responsibilities:

Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry.

Check source documents for accuracy.

Verify data and correct data where necessary.

Obtain further information for incomplete documents.

Update data and delete unnecessary files.

Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required.

Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files, and forms.

Check completed work for accuracy.

Store completed documents in designated locations.

Maintain logbooks or records of activities and tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience as a data entry clerk.

Fast typing skills.

Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred.

Great attention to detail.

Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)

Basic understanding of databases.

High school degree or equivalent.
