We are currently seeking a Data Engineer for a full-time, permanent position. This is a hybrid role that is primarily remote work. Candidates must live in VA, MD or DC in order to work onsite when needed.
The Data Engineer will support the Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) at DHS, this role will be part of a team focused on supporting the development of a new capability for an I&A mission customer.
Duties:
• Assists the I&A Program Managers and CORs by leading the contractor’s direct support in the day-to-day operations for I&A network hardware and operating systems.
• This includes network modeling and optimization and infrastructure evaluations, conducting assessments, reviews, analyses, and studies regarding emerging technologies, and performing systems engineering analyses directly related to data management operations.
• Gathers requirements for future microservices and graph databases to operate in multiple cloud environments.
• Assists in the review and assessment of business processes, organizational structure, controls, and the use of performance measurement baselines.
• The Senior Engineer shall have at least 5 years of experience providing senior engineering support in a TS/SCI cloud environment.
