JOB DETAILS

　　1. Provide shift turnover report which includes:

　　Recording system (SAP and PeopleSoft ) status, job schedule runs, tape silo status, and off-site data storage pickup / delivery activities on Computer Room Activity Log and

　　submit the log to Computer Operations Division (COD) management at end of each shift.

　　2. Contact responsible party when hardware problems arise, including:

　　Notifying COD management of the problem.

　　Calling in hardware problems to maintenance vendors.

　　3. Submit, rerun, hold, and cancel jobs via SAP R3P system.

　　Release and execute assigned jobs using SAP R3P system.

　　Report all abends to the SAP Solution Management System

　　Report all abends to the Tivoli Abends folder Monitor SAP R3P system for system status, and job failures.

　　4. Contact responsible party when application system problems arise, specifically:

　　Ensuring critical problems requiring immediate resolution are acknowledged within 30 minutes, contact, and escalate to responsible party if critical problems are not addressed.

　　5. Load production and scratch tapes into the IBM ATL's.

　　Escort offsite storage vendor and signoff for delivery and pickup of tapes.

　　Remove scratch tapes and recall tapes from containers.

　　Insert tapes into the ATL's.

　　6. Unload and box tapes from the IBM ATL's for offsite storage:

　　Ejecting daily off-site backup tapes from the IBM ATL's.

　　Inserting tapes into storage transport containers.

　　Printing hardcopy tape listings and send to offsite vendor.

　　Sealing all tape containers.

　　7. Perform data center walk-through including NOCC, UPS room, generator room, & fire suppression system control room.

　　Perform walk through for all data center space every two hours to ensure proper operational environment.

　　Ensure no fire or smoke is present in the control room.

　　Insure proper cooling of the data center and electrical room.

　　Check all alarm panels to insure no alarm status.

　　8. Provide physical security support.

　　Escort vendor in / out of data center.

　　Receive and sign off equipment / parts / packages for computer room.

　　Arrange emergency data center access for vendor during off hours.
