The Data and Analytics Manager will be responsible for leading a team of data professionals delivering data solutions to JMT's internal and external clients. Works with the Director of Software Solutions to develop data strategies and lead their implementation. This position leads a team of data professionals.SPONSORSHIP NOT PROVIDED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY.Essential functions and responsibilitiesLead strategy and operations of big data and analytics consulting opportunitiesDevelop data governance and data quality standards that are consistent with customer requirements (internal and external)Provide Business Intelligence and Analytics leadership in collaboration with internal practice leaders, emerging technologies and applications development implementation teamsLead and/or support business development and marketing opportunitiesLead and/or support delivery of services and solutionsProvide supervision and technical mentorship to business intelligence developers, data engineers and data architectsLead the Extract, Transform and Load process including developing data models to move data from one system to anotherResponsible for oversite of the development of complete and efficient data schemas to support JMT's and our client's business requirementsLead the Business Intelligence team developing data analytics for our business and clients that comply with industry best practicesPartner with enterprise architects to ensure optimal data organization to enable efficient reporting capabilitiesWork as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor to BI Developers and BI Specialists on Data Solutions teamDocument requirements for the Enterprise Data Platform relating to structured data and BI componentsResearch and learn new technological capabilities to drive our offerings forwardDesign and Develop data warehousesEnsure data design is compliance with internal and external regulations and standardsTranslate business needs into business intelligence solutionsIntegrate data and reports with dynamic reporting engines such as Tableau and Power BIProvide estimates for development tasksProvide estimates for development across projectsInnovate and contribute to improving development standards, techniques, tools, and processesAttend conferences, seminars, webinars, and/or on-line training on a regular basis to stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practicesTrain and test for industry certificationsIdentify, set, monitor, and achieve individual goalsLeverage mentorship and peer relationships to increase proficiency in developmentProvide support and mentorship to team membersParticipate in the personnel interview processContribute to the development of RFP response materialDevelop project specific RFP response materialParticipate in RFP response presentationsCollaborate with project managers, business systems analysts, UX designers, and application developers to deliver high-quality deliverablesSupport production systems as urgent and critical issues arise, including non-business hours support on a rotating basisNonessential functions and responsibilitiesPerform other related duties as assignedRequired SkillsAbility to work on multiple projects with minimal directionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsRequired ExperienceBachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields10+ years of experience designing and developing Business Intelligence Systems/Reports10+ years of design
