We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Analyst in Urbandale, Iowa. As a Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting our team through data analysis and reporting functions. This role is remote, providing flexibility for the right candidate. We are looking for someone right out of school or with 1-2 years experience.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to assist in decision-making processes

• Develop and distribute comprehensive reports to a variety of stakeholders

• Perform Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processing to streamline data management

• Integrate new analytics platforms to enhance data interpretation and visualization capabilities

• Conduct routine validation checks to maintain data accuracy and integrity

• Manage ad hoc data requests and deliver timely, accurate responses

• Utilize skills in SQL Queries, Tableau, Excel Formulas, and Dashboard Creation to effectively perform duties

• Collaborate with Development, Product Support, and other business partners to support key areas of responsibility

• Provide exceptional customer service when addressing inquiries or issues related to data analysis and reporting

• Continually seek to optimize data-related processes and procedures for improved efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements • Proficiency in creating intuitive and insightful dashboards

• Strong skills in data analysis and interpretation

• Proficient in using Excel Formulas for data manipulation

• Experience with Tableau for data visualization

• Ability to write and execute complex SQL queries

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
