　　Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.

　　Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 2 years related experience.

　　Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

　　Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS , R, Python).

　　Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

　　Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

　　Knowledge of research methodologies and statistical techniques.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Master’s degree in quantitative social science or related field.

　　Demonstrated experience and success in retrieving, organizing, and using data in a university setting.

　　Ability to work with EAB Navigate and other student information systems.

　　Experience developing data visualization documents from various data sources.

　　Job Description

　　Provides analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external data sources in support of business decisions.

　　Job Duties

　　Manage data files utilized for reporting purposes.

　　Extract and analyze data utilizing data management software to produce standard as well as internal and external ad hoc reports.

　　Collect, merge, clean, document, and otherwise prepare data from multiple disparate sources to generate reports/analyses.

　　Perform data collection and analysis on student and faculty population.

　　Provide analyses as needed of progress toward goals and targeted outcomes.

　　Responsible for generating, gathering, and analyzing data from university and other data systems and sources.

　　Determine data requirements, data sources and data collection methods.

　　Design data collection strategy from a general problem statement or objectives.

　　Identify, explore, and document legacy and new sources for data.

　　Research best practice and alternative solutions to our current business office applications.

　　Prepare text and visual summaries to facilitate interpretation of data.

　　Plan, develop, and coordinate annual statistical summary reports.

　　Provide data analysis and prepare reports for leadership decision-making, presentations, meetings, and training sessions.
