IPT is looking for great talented people to support the work at the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC). AvMC is the Army’s focal point for providing research, development and engineering technology and services for aviation and missile platforms across the life cycle. AvMC’s mission is to “deliver collaborative and innovative aviation and missile capabilities for responsive and cost-effective research, development, and life cycle engineering solutions” to equip the Warfighter with the best technology today and tomorrow.
Responsibilities:
Within a DevSecOps environment, collaborating to resolve complex issues, working through technical challenges within the software development lifecycle providing guidance on secure coding practices and contribute to the development of secure coding standards.
Review and provide guidance on software vulnerability and compliance scans applying remediation for security flaws and configuration issues in accordance with DoD/Army regulations and AvMC Standard Operating Procedures.
Provide RMF support required to obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals for AvMC unclassified IT systems, applications, and networks.
Prepare and deliver the documentation and technical data needed in support of enterprise RMF activities utilizing obtained experience and knowledge of eMASS.
Support the information security operational activity of programs/projects, laboratory instrumentation, and data analysis systems supporting the Army Research, Development, Test, and Engineering (RDT&E) community, customers, and partners within the AvMC
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging threats to continuously improve security protocols.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Eight (8) years of experience in a similar roles
Experience with Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and scanning tools, such as Fortify
DoD-8570 Level II / III certification
Active Security clearance
Strong communication and organizational skills
