The successful candidate will become part of a team of professionals representing both industry and government in support of a Missile Defense System (MDS) with a mission of protecting the United States and our allies. Job Summary

QTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals. The successful candidate will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs. The selected candidate will concentrate on vulnerability management including analysis and remediation of IAVMs, Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), Vendor Patches and STIG configurations.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:

Develop and test patches to fix Software, Hardware, and Firmware vulnerabilitiesInstallation and configuration of Linux from the OS up to the application levelDocumentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps for the labsDevelop test plans/procedures for software integration and unit testWork with software developers and/or vendors as needed to help diagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during system integrationSubmit problem reports for errors found per Agile processes and coordinate daily integration activities with other Agile Release Trains (ARTs)Responsible for the development and implementation of Cyber Releases in the National Team labs, Test Facility, and OperationsInstalling and unit testing Cyber ProductsProviding redlines to engineers and feedback to Cyber LeadershipDocumenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standardsMinimum Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline with at least 5 years of experience or equivalent, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experienceIAT Level II/ IAM Level I DoD 8570 certification (GSEC, Security+ CE, SCNP, SSCP or similar)Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

User experience configuring and patching Windows systems with Group Policy Objects (GPO)Hands on experience scripting, installing, and testing GPOs on Windows hosts across Active Directory domainsApplication experience with writing and deploying GPOs with Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM)In-depth understanding of GPOs for effective management of access control, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and improving overall network securityTechnical trouble shooting of COTS software applications, data analytics of system vulnerabilities and mission impacts, and risk mitigation resulting in system authorizationExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as neededSelf-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environmentDesired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Executing Agile tasks throughout a System Development LifecycleHands on experience with industry standard Cybersecurity tools such as Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), NESSUS, and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)Demonstrated experience analyzing and implementing NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls of Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation across multiple phases of mission systemSecurity Clearance

Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.

Salary Range

$82,000 - $161,000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in additi n to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
