　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　The Certified Surgical Technologist – Surgical First Assist (CSTFA) provides technical assistance to physician/registered nurse in surgical procedures related to the operation of the Surgical Suite. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

　　The surgical technologist function in the role of CSTFA after meeting the qualifications set forth and carries out the functions that will assist the surgeon in performing a safe operation with optimal results for the patient

　　The CSTFA does not function concurrently as a scrub during the CSTFA component of surgical patient care

　　The CSTFA also functions as a scrub when not assisting in the surgical technologist role

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Graduate from high school or equivalent program

　　Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology

　　Current Basic Cardiac Life Support

　　Current Certificate as a CSTFA Independently maintains Certificate Experience

　　Minimum 1 year in a health care setting. GI lab experience preferred
