The Opportunity: In this role you will manage customer orders from order placement through to final delivery through regular communication both verbally and written to our customers.
How you will impact WestRock:
Manage day to day customer order requirements and enquiries to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders which meet customer lead times including status of order updates as and when required
To minimise WestRock’s financial exposure in terms of stock holding both of raw materials and finished goods and ensure good stock allocation maintaining a last in first out process
Maximise sales and profitable growth of customer accounts by developing positive and professional relationships with customers thereby improving communication and increasing loyalty to the business
Working closely with all internal departments
To complete all paperwork in line with company procedure and best practice
To abide by data protection regulations
Provide customer and performance reports as requested
Establish and maintain key customer account information
Support and contribute to process improvement projects as appropriate
To be a willing and flexible team member ready to take on new and expanding tasks as appropriate
What you need to succeed:
3-5 years’ Customer service
Proficient in MS Packages including highly competent in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new software and systems
Appropriate standard of verbal and written communication skills
Ability to plan and co-ordinate priorities within a team environment
