Stellar Industrial Supply is an industry leading Industrial Distributor. Our primary products include MRO, cutting tools, 3M product, safety equipment, and many other tools and accessories. Our main customers are manufacturers, fabricators, machine shops and facilities.We are looking for someone who is eager and willing to learn more about our industry, highly motived, personable, and capable of growing long-term relationships with our current and potential customers.You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information, entering quotes and orders, expediting service requests, and addressing customer concerns.Responsibilities:Address customers in a professional, courteous manner with a positive attitude and active listeningAccurately and efficiently enter quotes, orders, and returns into the P21 system while meeting or exceeding service level agreements and customer requirementsWork with all information sources to accurately and quickly source what our customers need, communicating internally and externally as neededUnderstand Stellar supplier partnerships and how to best engage to locate information and service customersExpedite all service requests with urgency and accuracy to meet or exceed customer expectationsWork and collaborate effectively as part of your Customer Experience team, including Commercial and Specialist support individualsCommunicate effectively and establish professional relationships with all Stellar stakeholders and associatesEngage in continual learning of all Stellar service and product offeringsQualificationsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSProficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Outlook and ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize and multitaskAbility to connect positively with customers and othersExperience with ERP type computer program such as Prophet 21 is desired, but not requiredComfortable working in a sales driven and service focused environmentDesire to continually improveStrong attention to detail and follow upEXPERIENCE• 2-3 years of relevant customer service or warehouse related experiencePrevious experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields is of interest, but not required.Preference may be given to those with experience with Carbide Insert Tooling, Abrasives, Machine Shop processes, machinery, or machine tool components.EDUCATION* High School diploma or equivalent.PHYSICAL DEMANDS* Moderate physical effort that includes frequent standing, walking, maintaining arms and hands in the same position for repetitive tasks.
