Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the non-profit industry based in Staten Island, New York. This role will primarily revolve around providing exceptional customer service, handling various customer inquiries, and maintaining an organized record of customer interactions.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain an organized system for tracking and documenting customer interactions.
• Leverage proficient use of Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze customer data.
• Uphold the non-profit organization's standard of service and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer service experience.
• Identify opportunities for improving the customer service process and make recommendations to the management.
• Assist in the training of new customer service representatives to ensure understanding of organization procedures and standards.
• Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures while carrying out job duties. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in a non-profit setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrable ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a professional manner
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
• Should have a strong commitment to the mission and values of the non-profit organization.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle high volume of customer interactions
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change quickly.
