  D.R. Horton, Inc.is currently looking for aCustomer Service Assistant in the Warranty Department. The right candidate will act as the point of initial contact between the homeowner and the company regarding customer service issues. Complete data entry and the processing of warranty repair request and service reports.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  Assist customers, trades, and field personnel over the phoneAct as a liaison between the Customer Service Department and homeownersAct as a liaison between homeowners and the Customer Service Manager and CoordinatorsEnsure the entry of all incoming and outgoing work order requests, POs, and basic lettersMaintain and create customer history and reportsAnswer incoming phone calls and put them in contact with the appropriate personnel to resolve problemsPrepare the orientation and walk-through bookletsMaintain the department inventory as well as homeowner’s filesProcess field representatives' status of ongoing workConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyEducation and/or Experience

  High school diploma or general education degree (GED)One to two years of related experience and/or trainingAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsProficiency with MS Office and emailPreferred Qualifications
