The Customer Credit Memo Specialist supportsthe accounting department with applicable functions including accountspayable, cash application and credit memo activities. Essential Duties:Process and review Customer Credit Memos related to product returns,credits, and sales accruals for accuracy as well as ensuring allnecessary support and approvals are provided Process annual rebates andtarget incentive rebates Act as back-up for other tasks within SharedServices and support other accounting activities as needed Processbilling documents for training classes and inter-company Update approvertables and credit memo automation ques Prepare various charts andreports including monthly credit memo reports, weekly deductions, andothers as required Minimal Qualifications: High School Diploma orequivalent experience Minimum of 1 year experience in an applicable role-accounts payable, cash application and/or credit memo PreferredQualifications: Experience in a manufacturing setting Experience usingSAP or equivalent ERP Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency inMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Understanding of basicaccounting principles Thorough knowledge of accounts receivable/cashapplication standard procedures Physical demands: While performing theduties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear;and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
