　　Essential functions:

　　Responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.

　　Maintain and preserve all flooring an/or coverings by sweeping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing and buffing.

　　Clean and sanitize restrooms and other areas on the center.

　　Collect and dispose of all trash, litter and other debris found around the buildings and grounds.

　　Keep clean the exterior steps, entrances, landings, interior walls, ceilings, light fixtures and sidewalks.

　　Work with compounds, waxes, disinfectants and other cleaning agents.

　　Duties may also include, weeding, mowing, trimming, fertilizing, reseeding, or planting.

　　EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

　　High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience as a custodian preferred.

　　Must understand basic cleaning compounds, waxes, polishes, disinfectants, etc, and their proper applications.
