Ourtalented staff work in various crafts, including cleaning (night and daycustodial, housekeeping), building trades (painting, carpentry,locksmith, electrical, HVAC, plumbing), and on the grounds and in thestockroom. Our office handles over 18,000 telephone calls annually andresponds to over 12,000 service requests. We are responsible formaintaining 300 acres and more than 2,000,000 square feet of property in100+ buildings. Job responsibilities include general cleaning tasks suchas washing floors, emptying trash receptacles, dusting, sweeping, andvacuuming. Other tasks, such as cleaning bathrooms and shoveling snow,as assigned. This position is typically scheduled to work 40 hours perweek, Sunday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and Monday through Thursday, 4:00 pmto 12:30 pm. However, work hours may be subject to change according tothe workload and needs of the operation. Core Job Duties andResponsibilities: - General cleaning tasks at campus buildings -Sweeping, vacuuming, and washing floors - Emptying waste receptacles -Cleaning and disinfecting restroom toilets, sinks, countertops, mirrors,showers, and high-touch surfaces - Dusting and polishing furniture andfixtures - Communicate building and safety concerns and report the needfor repair or services - Snow removal assignments - Additional duties asassigned Qualifications: - Adhere to a detailed cleaning program -Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaningtools - Follow safety protocol, including cleaning chemical usage andstorage Preferred Qualifications: - Preference will be given tocandidates with previous cleaning experience - License/Certifications: -Valid U.S. driver\'s license License/Certifications: - Valid U.S.driver\'s license Physical Demands: - Lifting up to 50 pounds, goodmotor skills, exerting force to move objects, performing repetitivemotion tasks, stair climbing, bending/crouching, pushing, and pulling.Working Conditions: - Employee handles a range of hazardous materials,including cleaning chemicals and supplies.
