Summary This position is located at the White Earth Indian Health Service in Naytahwaush, MN. The purpose of the position is to work alone or as a member of a crew to perform the full range of custodial duties in assigned areas of the hospital, following general instructions on the work to be completed. The incumbent of this position reports to the Custodial Worker Supervisor. Responsibilities Sweeps, dry mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using brooms, mops, light and heavy types of vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers and buffers. Cleans and maintains restrooms to ensure orderly and sanitary condition. Maintains a stock of cleaning materials and equipment in order to perform the janitorial work. Moves heavy furniture and equipment in order to complete cleaning task. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must pass pre-employment examination. This credited service can be used in determining the rate at which they earn annual leave. This position is covered by a Bargaining Unit.
