DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform a variety of standard or aseptic cleaning and sanitation tasks. Work involves cleaning buildings, gathering waste and recyclable materials, and using and maintaining custodial supplies and cleaning equipment. Employees in this job do not require close supervision of assigned day-to-day custodial duties. However, work is subject to inspection while in progress or upon completion for adherence to established standards of cleanliness. Detailed supervisory guidance and review is provided for new or unusual situations and changes in operating procedures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5-hours per workweek.Hours of work are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with 30-minute lunch.Rotating Holidays - Rotating schedule - Work one weekend a month.Travel and Overtime: As needed.Multiple positions may be filled from this posting.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.The Department of Human Services provides excellent benefits, pay increases, paid leave and holidays, as well as opportunities for career advancement.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
