We are hiring a Cultural Resources Specialist Lead/Senior to work forour Environmental Services Group at J-U-B Engineers, Inc. Theposition\'s primary role is to identify affected cultural resources inand around project sites, and assist agencies in completing regulatorycompliance and identifying and implementing measures to avoid orminimize adverse effects. \' Plans, conducts, and overseesarchaeological and architectural Class I\'III assessments for varioustypes of planning and engineering projects. \' Represents J-U-B as acultural resource professional at meetings with clients, sponsors,agencies, Tribal governments, and organizations. \' Conducts NationalEnvironmental Policy Act (NEPA) analysis, authors cultural resource andother resource sections of NEPA documents and provides subject matterinput for cultural resource concerns. \' Assists private, municipal,state, federal, and Tribal clients in meeting federal, state, Tribal,and local cultural resource compliance requirements as they apply tospecific projects. \' Prepares and tailors cultural resourceinvestigations, reports, and related services for regulatory complianceand provides expert guidance for consultation with the State HistoricPreservation Officer (SHPO) and Tribal Historic Preservation Office(THPO). \' Ensures compliance with the National Historic PreservationAct (NHPA) and related federal, state, and local laws and regulationsrelating to preserving cultural and historic sites on projects assigned,to include expertise in assisting agencies in required consultation withthe SHPO, Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, federallyrecognized Tribes, cooperating agencies, and other interestedstakeholders. \' Assists in the preparation of Section 4(f)documentation (23 CFR Part 774). \' Develops a cultural resource programwithin J-U-B\'s Environmental Services Group structure; may superviseemployees in the future. \' Manages and assists in preparing scopes ofwork and cost estimates and then manages cultural resource contracts. \'Manages projects from conception to completion, interacting with clientsto successfully complete projects on schedule and within budget.Qualifications: TO SEE FULL QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION, PLEASEVISIT https://web.jub.com/join-us/
