The Cultivation Technician will work as part of a team to operate andmaintain a full-cycle, indoor Cannabis Production Facility in FallRiver, Massachusetts. This person will execute daily operations relatedto growing, harvesting, and processing cannabis through to thepost-harvest process. The Cultivation Technician reports to the LeadCultivation Technician & Cultivation Manager. Duties/Responsibilities:Perform required daily tasks related to cloning, transplanting,watering/feeding plants, defoliation, pruning, topping, flushing, foliarand preventive sprays, waste disposal, inspect and scouting crops,harvesting, cleaning, inventory management as well as post harvestduties Maintain 100% Compliance with CCC regulations regarding allgarden tasks, required PPE, plant tagging, and plant inventory Continueto develop an extensive knowledge base of successful Integrated PestManagement (IPM) strategies Follow cultivation SOPs, and nutrientregiments as prescribed by management Operate and care for horticulturaltools, equipment and machinery Track environmental factors and recorddata to provide to Managers and Leads Maintain a clean and organizedwork environment Perform water, media, and solution sampling and testingprocedures Adhere to industry standards and waste disposal proceduresset forth by regulatory agencies Completion of daily tasks in a timelyand efficient manner Maintain accurate daily activity records andoperation logs as directed using designated software and/or logsCommunicate effectively with supervisors and fellow techniciansContribute to a fun, team-oriented, and challenging work environment inan innovative and pioneering atmosphere Comply with all company and HRpolicies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements,policies found in the company handbook, etc Other tasks Nutrient LabSupport Support Staff is responsible for assisting management innutrient production at our nutrient lab in Fall River, MassachusettsThis includes, but is not limited to: Understanding and demonstratingproper use of PPE, Lab etiquette, mixing, regulations, Lab tools asprescribed within NEA Nutrient Lab SOPs. Identifying and understandingvarious nutrient processes Harvesting Support Staff is responsible forassisting management in harvesting batches on assigned harvest days.This includes, but is not limited to: chopping down plants, removing fanleaves and stalk, weighing and recording plant and waste weights,transporting plants to Trim Rooms, keeping plants organized by strain,license and batch ID. Trimming/Manicuring Support Staff is responsiblefor trimming and manicuring buds. This includes but is not limited to:removing all fan leaves, trimming buds, collecting trim and buds to beprocessed, and ensuring individual trim and bud containers labeled andorganized. Packaging Production Support Staff assists management inprocessing cannabis into pre-rolled cones. This includes, but is notlimited to: grinding up product, operating a cone machine, packingCannabis into cones by hand, and labeling processed cones. Support Staffis to assist management in packaging processed cannabis into appropriatecontainers. This includes, but is not limited to: weighing out cannabisin designated increments, removing any stem if necessary, labeling andcounting processed containers, preparing batches for delivery. FacilityCleaning/Maintenance Support Staff assist management in keeping thefacility cleaned and maintained. This includes, but is not limited to:zone recovery, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, etc. Otherrequirements Regular attendance is expected and is considered anessential function necessary for the efficient operation of thebusiness.
