  Job Description:

  Parsons/Xator LLC. is looking for an amazingly talented C-UAS Radar Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work with advanced Multi-Role Electronically Scanned Array (MESA) and Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars that are used to Detect, Track, and Identify UAS threats at a distance.

  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  Serves are senior radio frequency (RF) technical advisor for RF-related issues varying from radar capabilities and employment to RF systems integration.

  Conducts CUAS radar research activities to protect Embassy, Consulates, and other areas under the responsibility of the Chief of Mission.

  Clearly explains technical information during customer engagements and provides concise written assessments to senior managers

  Conduct planning and execution of assigned projects through various phases of the project lifecycle, from initial discovery through successful delivery or project hand-off.

  Conduct paper analysis of various radar systems.

  Assist in stakeholder interviews and working sessions.

  Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.

  Communicate clearly with senior-level stakeholders and effectively present solutions

  Review operational install plans for their impact on performance, reliability, maintainability, availability, quality, safety, and life cycle cost.

  JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  Education

  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics with 5+ years of RF engineering experience or 15 years of equivalent experienceExperience

  Candidate should have 5+ years of experience in all aspects of radars, including search and acquisition logic, tracking algorithms, waveform selection, overcoming countermeasures, and hardware-in-the-loop analysis.

  Must have knowledge and experience developing project management plans, communications plans, project budgets and schedules, and identifying and managing risk.

  Must demonstrate experience in successfully planning, developing, and implementing the project in terms of cost, schedule, and scope.

  RF background with a working knowledge of electronic scanned antennas, receivers, exciters, and digital signal processing

  Proficiency with Matlab or Python

  Experience effectively and professionally communicating technical and program-related information to multiple stakeholders and adherence to established communications plans.

  Candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities in dynamic, politically sensitive environments ensuring customer expectations are managed.

  Specialized Knowledge/Skills Requirements

  Ability to prioritize and handle multiple dynamic and diverse projects and relationships.

  Excellent problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to effectively work within the client's business environment.

  Ability to take a complex process and turn it into an easy-to-understand context for all levels of expertise

  Familiarity with operational site planning

  Familiarity with the models and simulations and pre/post-test analysis activities and procedures

  Experience with root cause analysis of tactical radar systems and interoperability

  Familiarity with S-band & K-band radars such as the RPS-42/82 and Echoguard

  Familiarity with HWIL analysis

  Ability to analyze ground test or HWIL data

  Familiarity with probability and statistics, coordinate systems, orbit and trajectory models, propagation techniques

  Experience with Java or similar object-oriented programming languages such as Java or C# and basic software design principles

  Ability to operate in an AGILE-based development environment

  Experience using Linux operating system

  FAA Part 107 Li

  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

  Full-time 40 hours a week

  Citizenship: Position requires US citizenship

  Travel: Position may require domestic and overseas travel (i.e., <20%) for installation support.

  Physical requirements can include walking, climbing, crawling through small spaces, and standing or sitting for long periods of time.

  Must meet the most stringent country medical clearance requirements. The position requires adherence to approved vaccination protocols as determined by location.

  Secret

  Salary Range:

  $92,200.00 - $161,400.00

  This position requires a Fit for Duty exam as part of the job requirements. Successful completion of this exam(s) will be required post offer acceptance, prior to you being able to continue in the hiring process and onboarding.
