　　As a per-diem CT Technologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work 8-hour per shifts Monday through Friday. The CT Technologist, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patient’s internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues.

　　Summary of Essential Duties:

　　Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions

　　Administer contrast material

　　Prepare and operate CT scan equipment

　　Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images

　　Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading

　　Cleans and disinfects patient rooms

　　Follow infection control and safety guidelines

　　Qualifications

　　Education:

　　Graduate of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology program requiredLicense/Certifications:

　　ARRT (R) required

　　ARRT (CT) required or willing to obtain within one year from start date

　　California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required

　　Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required

　　Venipuncture certification required or willing to obtain within one year from start date

　　Experience:
