The Crisis Care/Respite Program does all of that and more. Since 1983,the Crisis Care Program has provided a 24/7 crisis line and an 8-bed,voluntary, inpatient, 24/7 respite stabilization program for clients incrisis. Since 2018, the Crisis Care Program has also provided servicesto Lake County residents who call 988 and is currently one of sixlocations in the state to do so.
Crisis Counselor II Key Responsibilities
Provides crisis/respite intervention services to clients via the crisishotline, in-person, and clients on the inpatient residential unit.
Evaluates and assesses clients for level of care.
Prepares and implements treatment plans with clients.
Provides therapeutic and supportive services to clients, includingindividual, group, and case management.
Responsible for unit coverage and emergency telephone interventions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education
Bachelors degree in a related field, or
Bachelors in any field and two (2) years experience, or
High School diploma or GED and five (5) years experience
Must possess a valid drivers license.
Scheduled Hours:
Variety of shifts and hours: Day, Evening, Night, FT & PT
Rotating weekends
\$5.00 per hour shift differential for working hours deemed eligible forshift and weekend premium.
