Provide regular curriculum and course improvement withcontinually updated teaching methods. Participate in subject or programleadership teams and college-wide committees. Facilitate optimal learning through integration oftechnology and utilization of appropriate delivery methods. Evaluatestudent learning based on course competencies employing formative andsummative strategies. Instruction/Manage the Learning Environment Curriculum:Integrate learning theories and models into curriculum design. Updatecurriculum appropriately in curriculum design repository system and thecollege learning management system according to the college schedule andguidelines. Delivery: Facilitate learning, utilizing a variety ofdelivery modes and learning theories. Encourage engagement of studentswhile maintaining a safe, inclusive, and functioning environment.Assessment: Evaluate student learning based on course competencies andprogram outcomes, employing formative and summative assessments. Provideconstructive and timely feedback Retain records through the collegeinformation system according to program requirements. Support DualCredit and Credit for Prior Learning activities. There may beoperational needs requiring substitutions of alternative duties and/orthe creation of flexible delivery (e.g., CBE, iFlex) in courses. EnhanceStudent Success Modify teaching and learning based upon feedback andassessment results to improve student success. Create an inclusive andequitable learning environment designed to address student needs andpartner with accommodation or other support services to providereasonable accommodations, when appropriate. Advise students in waysthat foster the development of the whole student, and encouragespersistence and timely completion of a course, certificate, diploma, ordegree. Assess the effectiveness of a course and/or program and takenecessary steps to enhance outcomes. Pursue Professional DevelopmentParticipate in initial and ongoing required professional development.This includes, but is not limited to, college-wide meetings, on-siteprofessional development days, Wisconsin Technical College SystemFaculty Quality Assurance System FQAS courses, etc. Develop and updateannual goals as documented in the employee performance review. Maintainrequired industry certifications and/or licensures. Participate inPlanning or College Advancement Participate in division, department, andprogram meetings to improve program health. Provide input into hiring,mentoring, and succession planning. Participate in college advancementinitiatives, including college-wide teams, advisory committees, and/orstatewide teams. Contribute to the design, implementation, and reportingof grants. Support the College accreditation process. Participate inprogram planning, development, and modification. Outreach Participate inoutreach, recruitment, and community events as determined by college***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor\'s Degree in; law e forcement management/leadership, non-lawenforcement management/leadership, education, criminal justice, or otherrelated field is required. If no bachelor\'s degree, successfulcandidate will be required to complete within five years of employment.Master\'s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
