Description

　　Robert Half is seeking an experience Criminal Defense Paralegal for a contract opportunity with one of our clients.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　Legal Research: Conducting legal research to support attorneys in building their cases.

　　Case Management: Managing and organizing case files, documents, and evidence.

　　Drafting Legal Documents: Assisting in drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

　　Client Communication: Interacting with clients to gather information and keep them informed about the progress of their cases.

　　Court Support: Assisting attorneys during court proceedings, including preparing for hearings and trials.

　　Investigation Support: Collaborating with investigators to gather information relevant to the defense.

　　Legal Billing: Support in organizing and monitoring client billing.

　　Requirements

　　Qualifications:

　　Education: A paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies is preferred.

　　Experience: Prior experience in a legal setting, especially in criminal defense, is advantageous.

　　Skills: Strong research, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
