About the Role & Program:
Our Credit to Cash team is responsible for checking credentials and approving credit for advertisers and agencies wishing to advertise on Disney television and streaming. We also are accountable for ensuring clean revenue reporting data.
The Corporate Credit to Cash Department manages the second largest asset of The Walt Disney Company: its accounts receivable through its global organization! The mission of the department is to assist with maximizing sales and cash flow through the outstanding management of the accounts receivable using sound credit approval and effective collection strategies. What You Will Do...
As a Credit Specialist Associate Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Perform internet research and analyze financial statements in support of credit reviews and credit checks
Prepare and communicate credit recommendations and pull reports from service providers
Assist with Legal Entity and Sanction List Searches
Manage expectations and maintain clear communication with internal and external partners in a high email volume environment
Act as a liaison between our internal support teams and our media sales teams to ensure timely issue resolution
Be responsible for data integrity of CRM (customer relationship management) systems and Front of House Media Traffic systems – This includes Master Customer Setup synchronization, data analysis, data integration, and data error troubleshooting
Manage special projects relating to master data and system updates
Required Qualifications & Skills …
Strong curiosity about data analysis, accounting and business finance analysis
1-2 years’ experience in related role or related school coursework
Working knowledge of MS Office, with specific skills in Excel
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Self-starter with a drive for process improvements and the ability to problem-solve
Quick and eager learner with a “can-do” attitude
Able to successfully multi-task, prioritize and plan work activities as to use time effectively and be efficient
Highly detailed oriented, able to take effective notes and possess strong organizational skills
Always ready and willing to offer assistance and be a great teammate
Able to be flexible and handle a multitude of urgent matters and last-minute requests
Excellent interpersonal, communication and partnering skills
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
Proven ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently

Preferred Qualifications …
Experience with financial accounting analysis through coursework
Advance Excel skills with a knowledge of V-Lookups, Pivot Tables and/or SQL
SAP Experience
Bilingual skills
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Education:
Pursuing bachelor’s degree (or recent graduate) in Accounting, Finance, Data Analysis, Economics, Statistics, Computer Aided Modeling and/or MBA Students
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
At the time of application, be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Program
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 – January 2025.
This role is located in the Orlando, FL area .
You are available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
This internship is a primarily on-site position which will require a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace. You are able to provide their own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Orlando, FL area.
