Position Summary:
As Executive Director in Credit Markets Strategic Situations (CMSS), you will source private capital transactions, evaluate companies and manage a portfolio of existing positions. Additionally, you will you will build upon your own as well as develop internal and external connectivity to expand CMSS's existing relationship network to further enhance deal sourcing capabilities. You will be required to lead diligence including structuring, negotiation and investor discussions for a broad range of companies and industries.
You will work with top professionals to advise and facilitate transactions with a variety of institutional clients comprising of banks, assets and fund managers, pension funds, insurance companies and hedge funds. You will be at the core of capital deployment from the world's largest institutional investors to its most prominent borrowers and issuers. Job Responsibilities:
Deploy private capital on a principal basis for Corporates in event driven, performing, acquisition financing and stressed/distressed situations
Provide debt or equity financing globally as a principal across the capital structure (private equity, preferred, convert mezzanine, sub, secured, DIP)
Work with Public/Private Companies, Private Equity Sponsors, Asset Managers, Advisors
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Must have at least 10+ years of sourcing and investing in alternative investments, private credit and preferred equity
Must have a track record of successful investing experience and portfolio management
Must have extensive relationships in the industry to allow for sourcing
Must have experience leading and developing successfully a business and a team in a large organization
Must be able to analyze and value performing, stressed, distressed and special situation, event driven companies and investment instruments
Must be able to analyze complex financial models, assess comparable, negotiate terms, credit agreements and other documents
Bachelor's Degree
