Description
Robert Half Healthcare are currently seeking a skilled Credentialing Specialist. The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for the credentialing and re-credentialing of healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct provider credentialing and re-credentialing activities in accordance with industry standards and regulations
Maintain provider credentialing files and database records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Monitor and track provider licensure, certifications, and other credentialing requirements to ensure timely renewal
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate the resolution of credentialing-related issues
Develop and maintain positive relationships with providers, medical staff, and other stakeholders
Participate in audits and investigations related to provider credentialing and compliance Identify and recommend process improvements related to credentialing activities
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
High school diploma or GED certificate
Associate degree in a medical administration field (preferred)
Administrative experience
Familiarity with medical terminology
Strong research and organizational skills
