Description
The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a well-known healthcare company to add a Credentialing Specialist to join their team with experience in Facility credentialing. This position begins onsite and in person for the first 6 months. Once you have worked onsite for 6 months and have a thorough understanding of the system and processes, you will then have the option to transition to working remote. All that being said, this position requires candidates who live locally, as onsite office requirements will occasionally be required.
Hours for the position: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm/5pm
Responsibilities for the position include the following:
Streamline provider credentialing for groups, individual providers, and facilities, ensuring timely access to contracts and reimbursements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CAQH and commercial insurance profiles for smooth claims processing.
Empower staff with credentialing knowledge and address any challenges they face.
Play a key role in annual MIPS reporting, maximizing performance and potential rewards.
Utilize your skills and expertise to contribute to a variety of tasks that support the team's success.
Requirements
Facility/Physician Credentialing experience
Experience working with CAQH
Re-credentialing Application
Basic Medical Terminology
HS diploma or equivalent
