　　DESCRIPTION OF WORK

　　The Social Services Aide 1 provides a variety of services to help support the smooth operation of the Washington County Children & Youth Department. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, transportation, visitation, and record maintenance. You will plan, schedule, and provide transportation to children, parents, and families to help them attend court hearings for parenting placements or other appointments. Additional ways you will help families include scheduling, planning, and supervising child visitation as well as maintaining reports and case records. You will also assist and support agency casework staff to deliver other mandated, court ordered, and planned support to families and children in our community. 　　Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are typically 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.This position requires an irregular schedule and includes working evening and weekend hours.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.Note: After completion of one year of service, this position will automatically progress to a County Social Services Aide 2 at an hourly rate of $19.47 per hour ($37,966.50 per year).You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
