  Job DescriptionJob SummaryResponsible for managing counter sales and customer relations.Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key AccountabilitiesOrders products, arranges delivery, contacts customers regarding deliveryand updates customers on order status.Takes special orders and keep customers updated on progress.Acts as liaison between warehouse supervisor and customers.Ensures purchase orders are completed. Pulls orders as required.Answers telephones and ensures counters are properly stocked.Career Level DimensionsTypical Training/ExperienceHS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in area ofresponsibility.Problem ComplexitySelects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices,or instruction.Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor.Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor.AutonomyUnder close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment.Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a seniorcoworker and/or supervisor.Environmental Job RequirementsLocated in a comfortable indoor area.
