　　COST ANALYST

　　THE COST ANALYST WILL . . .This entry level position will perform routine assignments under direct supervision, be responsible for conducting or assisting in the documentation of simple to moderate financial analysis projects. Reviews for accuracy, routine financial and business-related reports/analyses in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.Assist in reviewing routine forecasts in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas as instructed.Utilizing PC and/or mainframe-based systems and software, compile and prepare reports, graphs and charts of data developed. May assist in the month end closing process. Analyze, reconcile, report, and prepare journal entries.Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

　　REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COST ANALYSTFour-year college degree in accounting, finance required.Entry level position. 0 - 1years of experience or a solid internship will be considered.Strong working experience with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.Basic knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in the accounting and financial analysis area. Strong math skills.Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to make appropriate decisions.Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the willingness to work under frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced office work environment.
