Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Cost Accounting Manager for our client in Irvington, New Jersey, United States. This role will involve managing a large inventory, utilizing Dynamics 365, and leading a team through the end of the year. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate clearly with a diverse workforce and navigate a physical inventory environment on-site. This role will be fully onsite in Irvington, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Guide a team through year-end procedures

• Utilize Dynamics 365 to manage a large inventory

• Conduct regular inventory analyses and forecasting

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, including aging reports

• Oversee the annual physical inventory process

• Manage landed cost calculations

• Communicate clearly with the team

• Plan and report on inventory

• Track inventory reserves

• Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for efficient management.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Expertise in Manufacturing Cost Accounting

• Ability to generate and analyze Aging Reports

• Experience in conducting Annual Physical Inventory

• Knowledge of Equipment Inventory management

• Proficiency in Inventory Planning Reporting

• Skills in Inventory Forecasting

• Experience with Inventory Tracking

• Knowledge of Inventory Reserves management

• Ability to perform Inventory Analysis
