Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accountant near Zimmerman, Minnesota. You will be reporting to the President and Financial Manager. The primary focus of this role will be providing cost analysis summaries, bank account reconciliations, and other financial tracking as directed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the annual site-specific and company-wide budgets

• Establish production "unit costs" for all products, producing reports and other financial information, particularly cost analysis

• Oversee all functions of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Develop reports on Job cost analysis, monitor, and manage annual cash flow spreadsheets

• Administer research and development projects

• Guide staff with job tracking and financial reports (WIP, budgets, job profitability, etc.)

• Conduct periodic bookkeeping functions (monthly, quarterly, and year-end)

• Maintain confidentiality of financial, business development, marketing, and sales information

Requirements

• Applicant must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cost Accountant role or similar.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for this role.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions is required.

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is a crucial requirement for this position.

• Familiarity with Budget Processes is a key requirement.

• Applicant should have experience in handling Cash Activity.
