POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for the management and direction of the Human Resource functions for the entire corporation.Major responsibilities are staffing, benefits administration, salary administration and appraisal process, all legal aspects of safety and workers compensation, employee relations and conflict resolution, policy development and administration.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSResponsible for the employment process at Corporate and the oversight of employment at all plant locations.Involvement with any disciplinary actions at any location to assure legally proper, consistent handling among all plants.Oversees the daily workflow of the HR Department.Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.Review and formalize policies and procedures concerning all aspects of human resources (hiring, disciplinary, terminations in accordance with company policy, etc.) goal being to attract and retain competent employees and minimize costly turnover.Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Conduct wage and salary surveys to establish and maintain competitive salary structures at all locations.Responsible for salary and wage administration for the entire corporation which includes occupational market pricing, pay for performance and review of all salaries and wages on an annual basis.Review all wage and salary structure of management personnel at all locations and recommend changes when appropriate.Communicate with Corporate and plant staff to be aware of problems as they develop so we can take necessary action and minimize financial and legal exposure.Responsible for recruiting all Corporate office open positions, approve related requisitions for plants and Corp.Establish and negotiate contracts and develop professional relationships with outside recruiting agencies.Create all salaried employment offers and packages which are competitive as well as keep current on trends in compensation and benefits. Negotiate salaried offers as required on a corporate wide basis.Create all salaried termination letters.Establish Human Resource function at new locations.Responsible for the establishment of HR policy and procedures across the company which includes handbooks.Responsible for employee relations and conflict resolution at the Corporate office as well as provide counsel on related plant issues.Work with payroll department to ensure proper communication related to salary administration.Oversee and monitor the affirmative action program for compliance.Responsible for all legal aspects of safety and workers compensation administration.Responsible for oversight of the employee onboarding process.Responsible for working with third party health centers provider for oversight and administration of the Corporate wide onsite medical clinics.Assist with the Environmental Management System (EMS), ISO14001, IATF16949 compliance as needed.Other duties as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSPreferred bachelor's degree/master's degree in human resources management or business with ten years in Human Resources related activities in a management capacity with at least five years experience in recruiting and placement.SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.SPECIAL SKILLSComputer literateExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to priorit
