This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.
We are seeking a high-energy, business-savvy communications professional to help the Corporate Communications and Storytelling team engage our key audiences with compelling and inspiring content and support the development and execution of events supporting our executive leaders.
The Senior Associate will support and enable the Corporate Communications and Storytelling team.
Working closely with the senior manager of Corporate Communications and Storytelling, you will support the creation, distribution and measurement of communications supporting members of our executive leadership team (ELT) and senior leadership team (SLT). You will also support the execution of town halls, leadership meetings, and in-office events, and help develop content for internal channels to drive engagement across our business.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding organizational, writing, editing, and design skills and value collaborating with and impacting multiple parts of the organization.
This role is remote, with the ideal candidate being based in New York for presence at occasional in-office events and meetings. It will report to the AVP of Internal Communications and Corporate PR.
Duties/Responsibilities
Executive leadership support
Partner on our CEO's content strategy for channels including, but not limited to, Be.Cognizant (intranet site), Viva Engage and our CEO's blog.Coordinate and lead logistics for in-office events, as well as events that support our CEO, executive committee (EC) and executive leadership team (ELT).Handle the in-person experience for our quarterly all-associate town halls.Schedule and coordinate platform logistics, in partnership with IT, for our executive leadership team (ELT) meetings, senior leadership team (SLT) meetings, quarterly CEO roundtables and quarterly all associate town halls.Content creation, management and distribution
Support the creation of intranet and Viva Engage content related to company strategy and events.Distribute content via internal channels, including the company intranet, Teams channels, Engage, and leader email boxes, in partnership with Cognizant's People Communications team.Develop content that supports our Foundation and Outreach team as well as our Government and Corporate Affairs team.Provide writing, editing and design support for leader presentations, internal blog posts, etc.Operational support
Own and run internal communications distribution lists, working with HR, global communications colleagues, and IT to update and troubleshoot as needed.Distribute leader messages via Outlook and mass mailing tools.Monitor leader communications inboxes along with the Communication team's mass mailing inbox to regulate emails that are sent to all associates.Team (and organizational) coordination
Help establish a center of excellence (COE) to house playbooks and shot clocks for stakeholders across the business.Maintain Global Communications Teams channel and associated files.Support AVP on quarterly reporting and annual planning processes; creating plan templates, timelines and helping team meet deadlines and deliverables.Required Skills/Abilities
Bachelor's Degree (Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism or Marketing degree preferred)2+ years of experience in corporate communicationsAbility to collaborate and implement in a matrixed organization with multiple project teams and timelinesA creative problem solver who can produce and edit communications collateral for a variety of channels and formats (video, PowerPoint, social media, etc.)Strong organizational and project management skillsExcellent writing skillsCreative design skill and knowledge of design and video editing software a plus What we offer you:
